A few years ago, I walked out of the shower and saw my wife flinch.
She was pregnant at the time—everything smelled stronger—but the synthetic fragrance from my “fresh mountain breeze” body wash made her nauseous. It hit me hard. If that soap was harsh enough to overwhelm her senses, what was it doing to my skin?
So I went back to basics.
I started making small batches of soap in my garage—nothing fancy. Just real ingredients: olive oil, shea butter, essential oils. No weird chemicals. No artificial scents. And definitely no “cool ice thunder blast.”
That one bar turned into a habit. That habit turned into a hobby. And eventually, Nostalgic Skin Co. was born.

Let’s be honest—most men’s soap is either too floral, too fake, or turns into mush in a week. We don’t do that here.
At Nostalgic Skin Co., every bar is slow-cured for six weeks to last longer and lather better. We only scent with essential oils. We formulate for men’s skin—thicker, oilier, and often overlooked by skincare brands.
