Nostalgic Skin Co. didn’t start in a boardroom — it started in our shower.

My wife had just given birth, and her senses were on high alert. One night, she told me she couldn’t stand the synthetic smell of my body wash — and truth be told, I couldn’t stand how dry and itchy it left my skin. We even tried a popular natural bar soap brand, but she still couldn’t stomach the fake fragrance. That’s when we realized: if we couldn’t find a soap that felt clean and smelled real, we’d make one ourselves.

That’s how Nostalgic Skin Co. was born — out of love, frustration, and a stubborn belief that real ingredients still matter.

What Makes Us Different

We handcraft every bar using a traditional six-week cold-process cure, creating soap that lasts longer, lathers better, and treats your skin right. We only use essential oils — never synthetic fragrance or parfum — and every ingredient is chosen to nourish, not irritate. Even our boxes are biodegradable, because we believe what goes on your skin shouldn’t harm the earth.
