Ours is real soap. Cold process means we combine oils and lye at low temperature, pour, and then wait — six weeks — while the bar cures. The Black Stuff cures four weeks. Dr. Squatch won't tell you. We cure six because a fully cured bar lasts longer, lathers harder, and holds its glycerin, which is the part that keeps your skin from drying out.

**Does handmade soap really last longer?** A properly cured bar does. Ours is cured six weeks. Keep it on a dish that drains and a bar lasts most guys 3–4 weeks of daily showers.

**Is it safe for my face?** Yes. Same bar, head to toe. Skip the exfoliating ones (Surf Orange, Campfire, Sage Brush) on your face if you shave that morning.

**Will it dry me out like the bar I used as a kid?** No. That bar was a detergent. This one keeps its glycerin. Most guys notice the difference in a week.
